Have you heard our band or choir lately? If you've been to a concert or to one of our basketball games, then you've been wowed by the big sound coming out of our band section. They are rocking the gym with lots of great music and doing it for you, the students and fans! As far as choir, Mr. Milholland has his choir students singing with such confidence. Their room is right above me and almost every day I hear beautiful music being made. Both teachers are in the process of building their programs and I would love to see our students get involved and continue the process of being a school that embraces the arts like no other! So stop by and talk to them to see if you can get involved. I promise you, it will be fun! And don't forget to help our choir by ordering your "Singing Valentine." It supports our program and might make your special someone very happy!

As part of their continued exploration of trying new outdoor sports, this semester's Outdoor Activities Class of 8th Graders went ice skating last week at the skating rink in Manhattan's City Park. Much improvement was seen from start to finish.

8th Graders: We will be hosting a Future Now: Finance event for them on February 13th from 9-noon.

Juniors: The free ACT will be taken at Marysville Jr/Sr High School during the school day on February 27th. If you signed up please be on the lookout for information on when we will meet to fill out demographics and make an account.
