September 17, 2023
Greetings Shenandoah Valley Families,
Last week, each classroom met with their buddy classes during our Leader in Me time. Classes participated in various activities and games. It was great to see all of the connections being made among our student population.
Our PTO and 5th grade parents are working on creating an amazing Trunk-or-Treat event on October 27 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. As you may begin planning costumes, please check out this link provided by our PTO DEI Committee regarding Halloween costumes and cultural appropriation.
This week we will be practicing our earthquake, tornado, and fire drills.
Have an amazing week!
Sincerely,
Dr. Terri Politte

We will meet once a month, on Fridays, at school from 8:00-8:50 a.m., October through March. On April 6, we will celebrate our hard work by doing a 1 mile run at Forest Park with the other schools at the Read, Right, Run Event!
If you would like to sign your child/children) up, please use the link below. The last day to sign-up is October 20. Any families that participate in Free & Reduced Lunch Program qualify for a discount code. You may get that code by emailing Coach Allen: nallen3@parkwayschools.net.
