Tuesday (11/22) is COZY DAY!

Student filled up the U and earned a school wide reward of a COZY DAY on Tuesday (11/22). Students can dress up in comfy clothes and bring a blanket OR stuffed animal.

Make sure to ask your student about the U and how they fill it up!!

Story Times at Urbandale Public Library

Kindergarten Story Time

PTO invites Kindergarten students and their families to join us for story time on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Urbandale Public Library from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Meeting Room A. Wear your PJ’s while we will read a few stories, do a craft or activity and enjoy a snack. Grown ups, please plan to stay with your student and enjoy time meeting other families. Uplifting Urbandale

UCSD Newsletter 11.11.22 #upliftingU Each year, Urbandale Middle School offers an opportunity for 8th grade girls to attend "Go Further," a day hosted by the W.I.S.E (Women In Science and Engineering) organization at Iowa State University. Students enjoy traveling north to the prestigious Iowa State campus to explore science, technology, engineering, and math.

Classroom Snacks

Classroom teachers have a snack time built into their daily schedule. Your student may need or want a snack each day. We encourage parents/guardians to send healthy and nutritious snacks (fruit, vegetables, crackers, popcorn, goldfish, granola bars, etc). Always check with your classroom teacher to confirm the presence of any allergies. Snacks should be packaged in single serving sizes vs bringing a large bag. *If you are unable to provide a snack for your child please reach out to the main office.
