- Jostens has "packages" for seniors to choose from, but remember, the only required items are the cap and gown + diploma cover.
- Seniors can sign up for reminders from Jostens by visiting JostensAlerts.com.
- Seniors could also send their parents a text to keep them in the loop. Speak with your senior about this information.

Pink Out Week at AHS
The Spanish Club, Beta Club, National Honor Society, and the Student Council will host "Pink Out Week" during the week of October 16-20, 2023. The following activities will be hosted by the clubs in a joint effort to raise funds for the American Cancer Society (ACS). This year the clubs join together and raise funds in honor of AHS Faculty Member Leigh Hennecy who is battling cancer. All monies earned through these activities will be donated to the ACS in honor of Ms. Hennecy.
- "Spirit-links" will be sold during lunch each day for $1 each. These are pink strips of construction paper that will be linked together to make a chain. Classes can compete against each other to see who donates the most funds and creates the longest chain.
- Clubs will sell "cake pops" during our school break.
- Staff will have an opportunity to donate and earn a free jeans day on Friday, Oct 20.
- Everyone will be encouraged to wear PINK on Friday, Oct 20 to show their school spirit and support for those battling cancer.
If you are a community member, parent, or business owner and would like to support the effort, please contact Ms. Amanda Chandler at achandler@horrycountyschools.net.
