Kia Ora everyone.
Inventors this week have started making Paper Circuits. These are an easy way to learn about electronics. All you need is conductive tape, LED lights and a 3V coin battery. The students have been designing cards and artwork to use for their design.
Soft materials are completing their zip up bags and screen printing. After several students asking, they also made a ton of scrunchies!
Micro:Bits class have been coding their Micro:Bits. Alex, Jeosh and Chayce worked hard to code their Micro:Bit to help with fishing. They are looking at entering their design into the global challenge.
Next week we are planning recipes for the Great Kauri Cookie Bake Off! It's time to make some cookies and share them around. Students are working in pairs to make a batch or 2 of cookies and Christmas treats.
Permission Slips
For these activities, permission slips are sent home which must be signed and returned.
Without permission, we can't take kids on activities. We don't want anyone to miss out, so please don't forget to get signed forms back. Please pay attention to the "must be back by..." dates - sometimes we need to advise final numbers and on the morning of is sometimes too late...
Road Patrollers - don't forget that your permission slip has to be in by Monday morning to go to the pools on Tuesday.
