St. Luke Weekly SMORE
JUNE 16, 2023
Leadership Message
Dear St. Luke Families,
Today we celebrated a fantastic group of Grade 8 students who will be leaving St. Luke and making their way to high school. It’s hard to believe that it is already time for our students to move onto this next chapter in their lives. They will be missed and we thank them all for sharing their amazing gifts and talents with us.
A special thank-you to the school council for their continual support of our students and providing our Grade 8’s today with a beautiful cross as a symbol of their faith. During our mass Father Vince blessed these crosses and we hope our students cherish them as an outward sign of their Catholic faith.
Our Worship Choir sang beautifully during mass and many students participated either through the readings, reading the prayers of the faithful and bringing up the gifts. It was truly uplifting seeing our students give praise to the Lord.
Next week students will be finishing up their year. Next week’s Smore will contain important information about September startup. Stay tuned!
I wish you all a great weekend and a blessed week to come,
Cathy Hinger
Principal
