Welcome Back Kingwood Middle School Cougars

We hope you've had a great start to the 2020-2021 school year! Monday, August 24th, we will begin phase 2 of the student progression for parents who selected on campus instruction. (Virtual and Virtual plus UIL will continue online learning.) Students with last names A-K will attend school on A Days, and students with the last name L-Z will attend school on B Days, all of which can be found on our KMS Website. On the days students are on campus, they will follow a 7 period bell schedule, including Advisory.

Face masks will be required for all students and staff. Social distancing will be encouraged, modeled, and expected in all areas of the building.

Communication is Key!

KMS Communication:

Primary methods of communication: KMS Connect emails, website, Twitter, Facebook, and Schoology.
Notification will be sent via Humble ISD email regarding lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases on campus.
COVID-19 Response Team includes administrators, nurses, at-risk counselors.

Student Health Protocols:

Parents and guardians are our best partners for ensuring the health and safety of KMS.
Verify and monitor your student's health and temperature at home daily.
Staff will be required to self-report COVID-19 exposure, symptoms, and/or positive results every day.
