We've Launched the Eagle Ambassadors Program!
Great things are happening in Argyle ISD! This week we launched the Eagle Ambassadors Program. This vision of new Superintendent Dr. Courtney Carpenter was started to help inform, engage and connect with AISD parents and community members.
The first meeting was held Wednesday at the Argyle ISD Administration Building and included updates from Dr. Carpenter and district department leaders. The program includes 50 members that will attend a series of eight meetings through April and graduate from the program!
"The Eagle Ambassador program is a vision that has now come to reality," Dr. Carpenter said. "At its heart, the Eagle Ambassador Program aims to build a well-informed school community that cultivates open dialogue and collaboration. We are incredibly excited to announce that our inaugural class has 50 community members ready to learn more about Argyle ISD. Their commitment to being an ambassador serves a critical role, as they are conduits to our entire community of stakeholders. This inaugural class is full of excitement and energy which are both at the core of what Argyle ISD is all about!"
The ambassadors will have the opportunity to engage with district leaders and students to become informed on the educational experience, growth, finances, facilities, communications, AISD’s vision for the future and more!

The Texas Education Agency has announced a temporary delay of the 2023 A-F Accountability Ratings for districts and campuses. They were originally scheduled to be released on Sept. 28.
Per the TEA, "The postponement of ratings for approximately one month will allow for a further re-examination of the baseline data used in the calculation of Progress to ensure ratings reflect the most appropriate goals for students. The final ratings methodology will be posted once this analysis of the growth data is complete, and about two weeks later, A-F will be issued for parents, educators, and the public to use to help Texas schools continue to grow."
