It’s that time of the year to register your child for the 2023-2024 School Year. For parent portal information please visit, Parent Self Serve Website here. For registration information please visit the AISD Enrollment/Registration website here.

To enroll for next school year students must be the following ages on or before September 1st: PK 3 students must be 3, PK 4 students must be 4, Kinder students must be 5, and so on. Current families may go online to register through the parent portal. New families would need to create a parent portal and register online.

Since we are a Campus Wide Two Way Dual Language Magnet Program, all new families must apply for our Dual Language program through the paper version of the application linked here English Spanish for PK3/4. The application process is open from April 3rd to April 28th.

The Common Application in the parent portal has closed for Kinder-5th grades, however, we will continue to take paper applications. Please visit the school office to apply.

Please note that all students new to Austin ISD must provide a birth certificate, current record of immunizations, child's last report card, proof of address (rental contract or utility bill with valid address), parent photo identification or driver's license, and the child's Social Security Card (optional) before they are completely enrolled to our school. New families zoned to Sunset Valley Elementary may start bringing these documents to Registrar Wenzie Garcia in the office. For questions you may call her at 512-414-5103.

PK3 and PK4 families must also visit the Austin ISD PK website to apply for PK3 and PK4. The PK3/4 application process will open on April 3rd. This is a separate process than applying for our campus dual language program. Families can apply for free PK3 or PK4 and if they do not qualify will have the option to join tuition based PK3 or PK4.
