I cannot beleive it is already November. We have had a great first couple months of the year and are ready to continue the fun and engagement throughout the year. It seems as though we have jumped from summer into winter, just as a reminder, please send students with warm coats, boots, hats and gloves!

The month of November our focus will be Gratitude. Choosing to appreciate the people and things in our lives and the quality of being thankful. This is a great month to be focusing on gratitute. Students that get caught showing or demonstrating gratitude around the school will be earning extra Gotcha's!

Last month, 4th and 5th graders were able to have activities on the Seattle Children's Science Adventure Lab. This was a fun and great experience for the students to be able to take part in! Also, we had our local Fire Department come in and teach fire safety to our 2nd and 3rd graders.

This month we are kicking off Watch D.O.G.s, we had a informational pizza night last week, if you are interested becoming a D.O.G. please reach out to Amanda Hines at watchdogses@cersd.org, this is a great opportunity to get involved and the students absolutely love it!

Coming up this Thursday, 11/10 at 1:00, we have the return of our Veteran's Day Assembly! Please come join us.

As well, we will continue our monthly Gotcha' Assemblies and weekly Gotcha' Winners

Student Drop off begins at 7:45. Student Pick up is at 2:55 on Monday - Thursday, and 1:55 on Fridays.

Please drive slowly through the parking lot, drop off and pick up times are extremely busy, with winter weather coming please be sure to do you part to keep all of our students, staff and families safe.
