Weekly Update- November 7th, 2022

Well, the change in weather has brought on some illnesses for our staff and students. We've been helping out in the staff preschool and infant center the last few days which is why you're receiving our newsletter today. We hope everyone had a great weekend and remembered to set their clocks back on Saturday night!

Delayed Start vs. Snow Days

Today the district called for a delayed start meaning the brick-and-mortar schools started 2 hours later to allow time for the roads to be cleared and buses to roll. As an online school, Elevated will maintain our regular schedule on a delayed start day.

If and when the district calls a snow day, Elevated will also take a snow day as we have to maintain the same calendar. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email us.

Picture Day

Picture day is next Tuesday, November 15th, 2022 on the Al Tahoe Campus. Our students are welcome to take pictures from 1 pm to 3 pm. We would love to have all our students come to take pictures even if you don't plan to purchase them as we update them in Aeries and it's great to have new pictures.

K/1/2- Sophia

Sophia is always prepared for class, on time, and attentive. She is very respectful and participates regularly. I love seeing Sophia using her learning strategies and seeing her grow each day. Keep it up Sophia!

Adam is such a bright spot in our days. He always makes sure that everyone feels included in our discussions. Adam is a conscientious student and friend to all. Keep it up Adam!

What a joy to see Margarita’s smile each morning! She’s eager to learn and participates regularly. You can count on Margarita to attend study groups and bring it with the flash cards!

Positive is his middle name! You can count on Mason to self-advocate when needed. He loves learning, and sharing, and is most respectful to our class. We love the LED lights in his room!

7th-10th- Max

Max has demonstrated consistent digital etiquette and strong critical thinking in his writing, speaking, and overall academic submissions. His attitude is positive and focused. Keep up the great work!

School Site Modernization Video

Free Math Tutoring at LTCC for all LTUSD Students!

Drop in on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday every week through December 8 (except Thanksgiving Week and Veterans Day) from 3 - 5 pm in the reading mezzanine inside the main entrance and directly upstairs. Students should come with their math work or Chromebook. Tutoring is free and tutors can assist with any K-12 math level - all students are welcome!
