An Extraordinary Place to Learn
A Message From Principal Wilson
Greetings Dolphin Family!
Second semester is well under way and there are only four months left in this school year. While February is a short month, it is a really busy month for Randolph. Please be sure to add all of the events we have planned to your calendar.
As we continue to focus on the Vision of Normalized Excellence at Randolph, we are pleased to share that we had gains across all grade levels in Reading and Math according to the iReady diagnostic assessment results. This growth is confirmation that the right work is happening at Randolph. Our scholars are engaged in the learning process, and our teachers work hard to provide the best instruction and support for EVERY dolphin scholar. We are Purpose Driven at Randolph Elementary and are committed to excellence!
I am proud to announce we are now One-to-One with devices in grades 3-5. What does this mean? Every scholar in grades 3, 4, and 5, has their own personalized device to use in the classroom daily. How were we able to do this? We received a device refresh from the district technology department, and with that, we were able to ensure that our scholars in 3rd -5th grade have equal access to computers in their classrooms daily? What does this mean for scholars in grades K-2? It means that they will also have more access to classroom devices and more time in the computer lab. It is a win for us all!
Parents, we are still calling on you to volunteer, if only just for one hour this semester. Please be sure to complete the volunteer link on the Fulton Schools website and become a part of the extraordinary things that are happening at Randolph. We have a few events in February and could really use your presence. Remember in order to volunteer for school activities, you must complete the online volunteer link for the district.
Thank you to those of you who have donated school supplies for our classrooms for second semester. The teachers are grateful for you contributions, and we appreciate all you do. Also a huge thank you for sending change for the "Pennies for Patients" service project. We are awaiting the final total amount collected, and will share as soon as that information comes in. Service to our community is one of the most important activities we can engage our scholars in. Thank you for supporting them in this act of service. Your partnership and support mean the world to us, THANK YOU!
Dolphin parents I truly appreciate each of you. Thanks for stopping by to check in on your scholars, the school, and often times just to say "hi" to me. Thanks for your consistent feedback, and for openly sharing your concerns. My goal is to make sure Randolph Elementary continues to be "An Extraordinary Place to Learn," and I cannot do this without you!
Happy February, and thank you for allowing me to share your dolphin scholars with you. I am so proud to serve as their principal!
In Partnership,
Principal Wilson, Proud Dolphin

Parents and families we need you to take 20 minutes of your time to complete two surveys. The Georgia Parent Survey and the FACS Student Code of Conduct Survey can be accessed below.
Georgia Parent Survey
The Georgia Parent Survey is also modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphone, or tablet. For parents who do not have access to the Internet, you can stop by the Parent Resource Center on Monday - Thursday from 8AM - 12:00 PM. The survey data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous, self-reported, and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey link is posted below.
