DECEMBER PARENT NEWSLETTER
Principal, Dr. DiTullio
Principal's Corner ☃️
It is hard to believe, but December is upon us. November was a busy month here at school. The month began with team building for all students in grades 1-6 at the Warrior Factory. The kids learned a lot about resilience and teamwork. I wanted to thank everyone who came to the grand lunches, the book fair and our family literacy night! In addition to a focus on building our students' reading skills, we are also working on instilling a love of reading in all of our students. Please continue to read to your children and read with your children. Bring them to the public library and take advantage of the wonderful resources there. Reading is a gift that keeps on giving!
There are many special events happening around town this December. Follow this link to learn more about the Roc Holiday Village, and see the fliers below for more information as well. There are also many parent meetings coming up:

Winter Concert & Music updates
We have a substitute for Ms. Pitnell, who has decided to take the rest of the school year off. We welcomed Mr. Rowlinson this month, and he has done a fabulous job getting the kids up and running with their instruments. He is planning to stay and fill the position for the duration of the school year. Ms. Bellemy continues to get the kids ready for their winter concert. The evening performance of the concert will be at East High School on December 15 at 6:00 PM. We are looking forward to the performance!
Don't forget to mark your calendars with the other dates and events below. And as always, thank you for your continued support and partnership. It is a privilege and a pleasure to be the principal of this wonderful, caring school community. And make sure to check out the video below! Our beekeepers made it in there!
