Fishing for Numbers
Mrs. Bright's math small group at Yulee Primary School taught students how to plot, order, and compare 3-digit numbers on a number line from least to most excellent. They had a great time using a fun and interactive method of "fishing" for the numbers, which made learning the subject matter more engaging.
Second graders at Yulee Primary took comparing number to a new depth. They went fishing for numbers then created greater than less than statements with the numbers they fished out.
Scoot those Stinky Feet
Recently, ELA 8 classes at Fernandina Beach Middle School, an exciting review game called "Scoot those Stinky Feet" was played by students.
