MUSTANG SPIRIT DAY WILL BE THE 1ST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH!

American Education Week is an opportunity to visit your child’s classroom and watch your children in action as they learn something new, participate in a curricular activity, or give a special presentation for visitors. For this week's schedule, see the "Mark the Calendar" section of this Gazette.

We invite you to come and join us, remembering that cell phone use while in the school is not permitted, and that this is an “adults only” visit as small children may disrupt instruction during this time.

If you would like to pick up your son/daughter early for an appointment, please pick up your child before 2:45PM. After 2:45PM, your child will be asked to wait with the other walkers, bus and car riders in his/her classroom, to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal for everyone.

To volunteer at a class party or chaperone a field trip, your clearances must be up-to-date.

If your clearances are current, upload them into the App Garden - Volunteer Tracker. If your clearances have expired, or you need to begin the clearance process, click on the Required Documents for the directions. This year we will once again extend the spirit of giving for the Thanksgiving holiday. Given the continuing economic conditions, many CB families find themselves in need of assistance. Therefore, Gayman will be collecting money that will be used to purchase grocery store gift cards to be used towards the Thanksgiving holiday. Contributions will be collected now through Thursday, November 16th. Please send your donation to the front office in an envelope marked “Thanksgiving Donations.”

We appreciate your voluntary participation in this worthwhile project. We truly believe that in giving we also receive, and helping others immeasurably enriches our children’s lives.

Fall conference sign-ups will "go live" on Monday, November 20th at 3:30PM through specific teacher Sign-Up Genius links.

If you are having any difficulty selecting a conference time, please contact your child(ren)'s teacher to make other arrangements.

Conference Dates:

• Grades 1st-6th: December 14th and 15th
• Kindergarten: December 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th

Families can access the online application for Free & Reduced Meals by clicking here. The application must be submitted each year AND for each child. If your child received free or reduced lunch last year, you must re-apply for the 23-24 school year.

Thank you to all of the families and friends who supported our dine local and donate night at Lucatellis. Lucatellis donated 20% of all proceeds from 4pm - 8pm that night which was $700! Again, we thank you for your generous support!
