Good Morning E.L.M. Families,


Happy Friday! It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Next week we will have a full day of school on Monday & Tuesday and close for the holiday on Wednesday. On behalf of the faculty and staff of Emma Miller, we want to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us.

News, Updates & Reminders:


* Please note that there will be no Friday Family Focus next Friday, 11/24.


* If you haven't done so already, please check out the NBSU Apptegy APP for your phone. On this app you will find classroom updates, lunch menus and school news. Go to your phone's App Store and search NBSU for the North Berkshire School Union. Once you have downloaded the App, you can choose which school you'd like to follow. A screen shot of what it looks like is below.


* Following the Thanksgiving break all classrooms will be taking a field trip to MA MOCA. We will leave school at approximately 9:00am and return for 12:00pm. Permission slips will be sent home on Monday, Nov. 27th. We appreciate a quick return of the permission slips.

The dates and grades are as follows:

Wed. Nov. 29th - PreK - Gr. 2

Thurs. Nov. 30th - Gr. 3/4

Fri. Dec. 1st - Gr. 5/6


Planning Ahead:


* There is a half day of school on Thursday, Dec. 7th for Parent/Teacher conferences.


PTG Updates & Reminders:


* We want to thank everyone that came out to the PTG meeting on Monday afternoon. It was great to see so many of you. The next PTG meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 11th at 5:00pm.


* The children will have the opportunity to shop at Santa's Workshop on Thursday, Dec. 21st. All items will be $1.00 each. More information about this event will be sent home soon.


* The PTG now has a Facebook page of its own. The links for the school and PTG Facebook pages are below.


Health & Safety:


* Nurse Kate will be conducting vision and hearing screenings after the Thanksgiving break. If you have any questions about the screenings, please reach out to Nurse Kate directly. Thank you.
