A Message from Elementary Leadership
Dear Insight PA Elementary Families,
As we step into the second month of the year, I am delighted to share the latest updates and accomplishments from our elementary learning community. February brings with it a sense of continuity and progress, and I am excited to highlight some of the key happenings and achievements at Insight.
Celebrating Academic Excellence: We begin this newsletter by acknowledging the outstanding achievements of our students in various academic pursuits. It is heartening to witness their dedication and hard work culminating in remarkable accomplishments. Congratulations to all students and their teachers for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
Innovations in Learning: Our commitment to providing a dynamic and engaging learning environment remains the heart of what we do. This month, our educators have implemented innovative teaching methods, incorporating technology and hands-on experiences to enhance the learning journey of our students. We believe in fostering creativity and critical thinking skills that will serve our students well in the future.
Community Involvement: At Insight, we take pride in being an integral part of the broader community. In February, we have several community outings planned, aimed at creating stronger connections between members of our school community. Stay tuned for opportunities to get involved beyond the classroom.
Thank you for your continued support and collaboration. Together, we can make February a month of growth, achievement, and positive experiences for our students.
Wishing you a wonderful month ahead!

After-School Support (Reminder)
Our Elementary principals would like to remind you about the availability of after-school support sessions.
Why After School Support Matters: We understand that each student has unique learning needs and may benefit from additional assistance outside regular class hours. Our after-school support sessions provide an opportunity for personalized help, clarification of concepts, and reinforcement of learning objectives.
When and Where: After-school support sessions are held Monday - Thursday from 4:00PM - 6:00PM. The sessions take place in Class Connect in the online school. Our dedicated team of educators will be available to assist students across various subjects and grade levels.
How Parents Can Support: Encouraging your child to attend these sessions can make a significant difference in their academic progress. If your child is struggling with specific topics or assignments, attending after-school support sessions can provide the extra guidance they need.
Communication is Key: Our staff is committed to open communication with both students and parents. If your child requires additional assistance, please feel free to message our staff directly. We are here to work together to ensure the success of every student.
Your involvement and support play a crucial role in your child's academic journey. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your child. Together, we can empower every student to reach their full potential.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. We appreciate your partnership in fostering a positive and successful learning experience for our students.

National School Counseling Week
This week, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), highlights the essential contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and the tremendous impact they have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. The theme for this year's week is "Standards-Based, Student-Focused".
We invite all of our Insight PA families to join us next week in thanking our incredible team of school counselors for everything they do for our students all year long. Learn more about the importance of school counselors at the links below:
Counselors' Corner
This month’s focus is Honesty.
The elementary school counselors worked with students and Learning Coaches during the last week of Quarter 2 to collect information about their social and emotional skills to best support them. If your student qualified for a specialized intervention from our counseling team, you will be notified by your student's counselor. These exciting small groups will help students further develop their coping skills, regulation skills, social skills, and self-management skills.
Contact Your Counselor
Our Elementary students are assigned to a counselor by grade level and work with the same counselor each year as they move up through Elementary School. Not sure who your counselor is? Check the list below!
- Mrs. Testa (Kindergarten)
- Mrs. Peters (1st Grade)
- Mrs. McPherson (2nd Grade)
- Mrs. McFarland (3rd Grade)
- Mrs. Judson (4th Grade)
- Ms. Snyder (5th Grade)
To enable, inspire, and prepare students to achieve the highest levels of academic standards so they make a powerful contribution in their communities.
Our Vision
To ignite a desire for learning in every student and nurture them to understand their goals and create a clear path to achieve them.
