A Great First Week of School
Thank you for making this first week of school AMAZING! We are so happy to have all the students back in the building! Teachers and students are already working hard to get to know each other and build that learning partnership. Things will continue to run smoother as we practice the new routines and procedures for arrival, dismissal, lunchroom and recess. Please continue reading to hear other announcements.
Start Proud!
Start Proud! sponsored by Office Depot was here with us on Friday, Sept. 9th to celebrate Monroe being selected as one of their 18 schools they support each school year! Every student walked out of the assembly with a backpack filled with supplies! These supplies were sorted in classrooms and what does not need to stay at school is still in the backpack for a resource to use at home. They also gave a generous donation to teachers and staff for additional supplies they might need in their classrooms.
We are so grateful for all the support Start Proud! has provided for our school community!
