November is Homeless Awareness Month, and Elkins Pointe Middle School would like to recognize that all children are entitled to equal and uninterrupted education. Fulton County school is committed to ensuring that every student and family receives free public education regardless of their living situation. Learning is an ongoing process and should never be compromised when families encounter disruptions in their living situation. The loss of housing, living in shared spaces, motels, hotels, or shelters, and lack of transportation should not prevent children from attending school. If you or anyone you know is experiencing Homelessness, please reach out to our School Social Worker, Ms. Marcia Brooks, at brooksm4@fultonschools.org or 470-254-3600.

The Interact club will be meeting on Nov 18th, December 2, and December 9th during WINN in Ms. McClelland’s room. Locker Wrap Project Information

Donation of winter hats, scarfs, gloves, socks, mittens, small blankets or $2.

We will wrap one locker for each donation.

Bring donations to E-113 or D-115 by Friday Dec 9th

All donations will be given to a homeless shelter.

Coming soon! The Bridges/North Atlanta Cotillion will start Sunday, January 8 at Double Tree Hilton in Roswell. We offer a dancing and manners program to 7th and 8th graders. We focus on traditional dances (waltz, fox trot) along with popular dances (shag, swing, freestyle, line, slow). Our 7th grade manners include making first impressions, handshakes, eye contact, common courtesies for girls and boys along with telephone/technology etiquette.

Our 8th grade program introduces Latin dances and etiquette that covers job interviews, dating and the ever popular Table Manners! Your student will use these skills throughout their life! New students are always welcome in 8th grade. Registration is open! We look forward to meeting your child. For more information, please contact:
