Mrs. Pfaeffli would like to dedicate this SMORE entry to her first picture of an Art At Home activity: Nature Face! Artwork done by Abby and Noah Baird! Keep up the good work everyone!
Ms. Culmone and Ms. Quigley have been doing an "idea a day" on their Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/culmoneandquigleyskinders/?hl=en) to encourage parents to do some more hands on skills at home. They turned it into challenges and parents are starting to get into it, sending pictures and videos of students participating and they're giving great feedback !!
Virtual preschool teacher staying connected with students and parents through Bloomz. Ms. Simon is virtually assisting Kai while he is busy reading and tracing his name!
Ms. Webster's first grade class has enjoyed using Zoom Chats to see their friends and teacher! Ms. Webster and her son Owen have also read stories to the class. The students look forward to their daily zoom chat!

VIRTUAL LEARNING
As we go through the school shut down to protect our staff and students we asked our staff and parents to send us pictures of the comfy, creative and fun ways they are learning from home! We have to admit, we LOVE seeing the hard work and dedication to academics that our Slaybaugh family is portraying in such a crazy time! Take a look at how everyone is learning!!
Mr. Marinelli is working from home in his comfy clothes!
Ms. Collins is working from her new desk...the kitchen table! She has her loving helper, Nutmeg, who is enjoying every second of mom working from home!
From preschool teacher to a third grade teacher at Ms. Simon's house with her son and their cat who thinks he is in charge!
Mrs. Guerra's 2nd graders are staying busy studying from home!
Mrs. Huba's 2nd grade student, James, is busy working on an electrical circuit!!
Mrs. Sansom's 3rd graders are working hard from home!
Mrs. Basdekis and Mrs. McGinnis' class had their first Video Chat using Zoom and it went so well!! They got to talk with each other, share stories, review at home work expectations and chat with their friends! The students really enjoyed it and they are planning to do these very often!!
Mrs. Efstatos' class is another class working hard from home! She even got her daughter to work with her!!
