Dr. Looney's Message
Grades - It's time to sit down with students and check the Parent Portal and have a discussion about student grades. Remember, all local school tests, including Common Assessments, can be made up after attending tutoring. District Assessments cannot be made up. This is a great way to begin bringing grades up before the end of the year.
Awards - Awards dates will be posted on the website soon. We want to give lots of awards for Honor Roll, so let's get those grades up.
Testing - We are in the midst of testing season. Eighth grade started this week, the remainder of the schedule is below in "The Coming Month" and is posted again as a graphic under "Assessments". Use these tools to plan for good rest: the best way to prepare for a test the night before is to eat a healthy meal and get a good night's sleep. It might be a good idea to remove cell phones from the bedroom at night so our students can get rested. . . and eat a great breakfast! We know they can do this!
We appreciate your support in all that you do. Reach out to the school if you need anything.
