Celebrating another week at Berryton Elementary School
Berryton Families,
A Few things to celebrate over the past week at Berryton:
- Halloween- We had a great time celebrating fall as a school family, and we are hoping for warmer weather for an outside parade next year. Fingers crossed!
- Third and Fourth Music Concert- Our Buffalos did an amazing job in our musical production of "Fox Outfoxed!" They sang beautifully, danced so well, and just shined so bright on the big stage.
- Professional Learning- Our staff received a professional learning session on Friday, November 1st from the Let's Move Kansas group who provided lots of ideas and strategies for getting our students up and moving throughout instruction. Staff also received ideas for brain breaks to enhance learning.
If you haven't completed our Parent Teacher Conference Survey sent out by Ms. Tanya please check your inbox and fill it out. We look forward to getting feedback from all of our parents, and we use this feedback to guide our next steps.
It's great to be a Berryton Buffalo,
Mrs. Bervert, Principal
Thank you Mrs. Hurla!
Yesterday was National Instructional Coach Day and BES celebrated Mrs. Laura Hurla. Mrs. Hurla spends the bulk of her day supporting staff in professional learning, supporting new teachers, guiding us as we continue our journey in becoming a Quantum Distinguished Learning School, and most importantly providing smiles and a love for Berryton. If you see Mrs. Hurla out and about please let her know that she is appreciated.
In a Holiday Mood Already?
In the front entryway there are stockings filled with holiday ideas for all of our Berryton staff. If you are looking to complete your holiday shopping for Berryton there is a huge variety of items that will benefit our school.
