Gratitude
A huge THANK YOU is extended to our Eagle Lake families for your support of the food drive! It's heartening to see such a strong sense of community and generosity. Kudos to Mrs. Kroa, the High School Student Council, and Mrs. Raab's class for their outstanding contributions. Mrs. Raab's class will start the day on Monday with a doughnut celebration!
At publication, the total number of food items donated for the district was over 11,900! The impact of our community's collective effort will make a significant difference for those in need during the holiday season.
Proud to be part of the Edwardsburg Family indeed!
Bravo!
A standing ovation for a job well done!
On November 9, Eagle Lake Multiage students, under the direction of Mrs. Marlow, presented

BOOK NOOK
Third grade students will continue to learn about shipwrecks on the Great Lakes. Did you know that one of the worst storms in Great Lakes history happened on November 7-10, 1913? You can read about it on the National Weather service website and how that storm helped change weather forecasting.
Second grade and multiage students will learn about conditionals. We’ll look for examples of cause and effect and create some if/then statements.
Happy reading and coding!

Multiage Striking Unit and 3rd Grade Track and Field
This week, multiage started a striking unit. They played Rob the Nest, did ball exploration activities, hit with bats, and played Not on My Side.
This week, 3rd grade started a new track and field unit. They learned what success means in athletics and completed a pre-assessment to see how fast their sprint time is. They were also able to do some relay races and work on their running form.
Have a great weekend!

Edwardsburg Public Schools is asking families to please complete an application for free/reduced meals as some areas of school funding are dependent on the outcome of these applications.
Visitors and Volunteers 🤗
If you wish to volunteer, please contact the classroom teacher to arrange a day and time. Volunteers must complete a background check every school year. A Volunteer Form is available on the EPS website.
New This Year: Visitors coming to eat lunch with students must have an approved Volunteer Form. For safety reasons, only staff and students are allowed on the playground during school hours.
