MATERIALS ON YOUR LIBRARY ACCOUNT

1. LAPTOPS WILL NOT BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THIS YEAR. You will need them for the 2021-2022 school year.

2. ELA NOVELS ARE ONLY DUE IF YOU HAVE FINISHED READING THEM IN CLASS. If you have finished the novels, they are due.

3. KAJEET HOTSPOTS (If you have one) ARE DUE BEFORE THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL.

4. Any library books you may have are due at this time. Please return these at your soonest convenience.

Current 8th graders: Please complete the following survey. CHS is asking all 8th-grade students interested in Fall sports to complete the form. Information concerning physicals, registration, and links to the appropriate forms are included. Coaches' contact information is also provided for parents/students needing information on pre-season conditioning dates, times, and requirements.

The MBMS Media Center will be open this summer from 9:00 - 2:00 on the following dates for book checkout, computer usage, and a variety of makerspace (games, puzzles, robotics, art, etc.) activities:

On Friday afternoon, a letter was sent via email regarding the option of a Virtual Pathway program available during the 2021-2022 school year. SMCPS is providing a survey to determine who is interested in this program for next school year. The SMCPS Virtual program will offer courses for grades 3-12 and will utilize Schoology as the base platform, while incorporating synchronous sessions using video conferencing as well. If your family is interested in the virtual learning program for the 2021-2022 school year, please complete this form-- bit.ly/SMCPS2022virtual.

Students who have already been issued an SMCPS computer will not need to turn in their computers over the summer. The expectation is that the computers will be issued to students who will have them to use throughout their educational career. Computers will be collected prior to high school graduation or when a student leaves SMCPS.

Students who have not been issued a school laptop and need one once we return students to a regular school schedule should plan to pick up a laptop at the school during regular school hours. This is very important especially for our current 8th graders who will need a computer for high school. Please contact Ms. Lowe, the media specialist, with any questions.

All families who were issued hotspots need to return them to Margaret Brent by the end of the school year (June 17). Please plan to drop them off in the main office between 8:00 and 3:00 PM.

The Paw Print is emailed to parents/guardians weekly (Sunday afternoons for the upcoming week). Past Paw Prints can be found on the MBMS school website for your convenience.
