Research supports that daily school attendance positively impacts academic achievement and social and emotional well-being. With your participation in prioritizing your child(rens)’s school attendance, we can ensure that each student fulfills their greatest potential in school and life. This year, thanks to the collaboration and commitment of our families, students, and staff, we saw an increase in our attendance rates. However, there is still an opportunity for us to grow our attendance rates to 95%.
Our principals have prioritized working with our families to overcome challenges in student attendance. Please reach out to your child(ren)’s principal to discuss any challenges your family may be facing. Together, we are better.
In service,
Dr. Willie E. Garrison II
