The Hold On program is a new multi day suspension school starting October 31, 2022. Mrs. Sams will be the lead teacher for the program. The program will use use door 9 for entrance and exit. Below are some details about the program.

• Multi Day Suspension

• This would be used on the 2nd suspension

• Baxter will be notified prior to 3:00 the day prior.
  

• Attendance

• Attendance will be emailed to the home building secretary to be recorded.

• Slots available

• 14 students is the maximum number of students for any one day.

• 5 per building-Dennis & Test The expulsion examiner may request to use these in lieu of expulsion)

• 2 for 20 day placements used by Expulsion Examiner.

• Student Work

• Student work will be posted and available to access in Canvas or paper copies will be brought down to the front office the day prior.

• Transportation

• Bus will pick up/drop off students at Dennis/Test

• Required Curriculum

• SEBW Curriculum is in Canvas

• Vaping Curriculum will be required if suspension is the result of vaping.

November Gratitude Tip Ideas:

• Make a collage of all of the big and little things you are grateful for, then hang it somewhere you will see it everyday!
• Write a note or card to someone to show them your gratitude.
• Do a random act of kindness. (i.e. donate clothes, help someone carry their groceries, open a door, volunteer at the food bank.)
• Do a gratitude visit. Go out of your way to have a face to face conversation with someone and show your appreciation.
