Thanks to your support, the Equity Club was able to fly down to Philly and check out Lincoln Financial Field this past Friday. The Citadel Heart of Learning Award program honors exceptional teachers throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. I am certain that we have a number of educators worthy of this prestigious award, walking the halls of Fugett. As a matter of fact, our interim Assistant Principal, Mrs. Jen Gallagher won this award just a few years ago, recognizing her incredible impact on students.

Looking for information regarding mental health awareness? The Aevidum Club created a "Take What You Need" bulletin board located across form the Auxiliary Gym. Students and staff-please stop by, take what you need, and pass along to someone who might need of some moral support. We got your back!!!

Student Equity is running a fundraiser with Nothing Bundt Cakes! Purchase a bundlet for $6 and $1 from each sale will benefit the Student Equity Team. Payment is cash-only, and will be collected during homeroom on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting on January 9. The last day to purchase a bundlet is January 29. The bundlets will be delivered on February 14!

Last Tuesday was our first day after break. In an effort to ease our students back into the week, we did not have ICARE activities. This Tuesday's activity involves empty soda bottles, water, a jar of dirt, salt, and 2 spoons. Be sure to ask about the activity Tuesday evening and check back here next week for an update.

Thank you so much to those that were able to donate to our holiday staff Merry Mix fund, and sports and game equipment for our recess shed. We really appreciate it!

Please wait until 7:00 to let children out of the car. We have staff ready to welcome students every morning, but this role does not start until 7:00.

To serve you better, families may drop off and/or pick up East and Fugett students at either building, as long at you are using the typical drop off/pick up location.

Parents: Please encourage your children to check their backpack for toys and water guns before coming to school after a weekend. We understand that backpacks may serve a dual purpose over the weekend, but any items in violation of the WCASD Discipline Manual will result in student disciplinary outcomes.

All Community Resource information going in the Fugett Flash need to be approved by Dr. Sara Missett, Director of Elementary Education. Please include Dr. Missett's (smissett@wcasd.net) approval when requesting a flyer be included in the Fugett Flash. Thank you!
