CCPHC expecting #s to increase drastically over next several weeks as testing becomes readily available. Test results now take 24 hours instead of 7-10 days. While there is no vaccine or cure, our weapons to fight this are non-pharmaceutical interventions like social distancing & STAY @ HOME orders in place. In the coming days CCPHC is stepping up enforcement when they find reckless behavior & ask for your support. There are so many people abiding S@H order, & we are all grateful, because your actions will save lives, probably someone we know. Please encourage safe behaviors. The Council held practice meeting via ZOOM, working out a few bugs & now should be ready to go live @ our next meeting without leaving home.

We recognize sacrifices made by our staff, adjusting to new practices to keep each other safe, while some are working from home, some have lost their incomes and some are the first to respond when help is needed.

Susan Conyers is leading us into videoconferencing for public meetings; our Community Center staff is reaching out with ideas to stay active & deep cleaning the center for our return; Sr. Center Manager, Jeff Barger has received many compliments for his work, Golf is offering an outdoor diversion to many looking for exercise; Police officers continue to respond to high call volumes; Fire/EMS are on the front line taking every necessary precaution. Out of sight, are those ensuring our drinking water is safe, & that we are able to handle a large onslaught of toilet paper should it be flushed all at once.

• Stepped up cleaning protocols in occupied city work places as we eliminated face-face interaction, postponing purchases & projects to conserve cash flow. Developed new communication protocols & incorporating CCPHC & CDC guidelines into practice.
• Sewer Project on Shirewood is ready to start; Henrie Hill Bridge bids are once again too high to proceed; encourage public use of Courtney Ridge Landfill while we are not accepting Bulky items & Yard Waste. Bids for Cemetery GIS received, placed on hold.
