ROOSEVELT BEAR TRACKS

PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Dear Roosevelt Parents/Guardians,
As the principal of Roosevelt Elementary School, I want to reach out and remind you of the importance of parent involvement in your child's education.
Research has consistently shown that when parents are actively involved in their child's school, it leads to better academic performance, improved behavior, and a stronger sense of community.
There are many ways that you can get involved in our school. You can attend parent-teacher conferences, volunteer in the classroom, or participate in parent-teacher association meetings. You can also help by reading with your child at home and encouraging them to take an active interest in their learning.
We also encourage parents to get involved in school events and activities. Your participation in events such as family nights, book fairs, and school performances helps to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
We understand that many parents have busy schedules, and for our Spanish-speaking parents, we would like to remind you that we have bilingual staff available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
Please know that any involvement, no matter how small, can make a big difference in your child's education. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or to me. We are always happy to hear from you and work together to ensure that your child has the best possible learning experience.
Sincerely,
Cheryl Jordan
Roosevelt Elementary Principal
