Welcome to Elmwood!

I hope you and your family are still enjoying the warm summer weather. We are very excited about the upcoming school year and wanted to share some important information before the school year begins. For those of you I have not yet met, I am Heather Bowersox, Elmwood Elementary School's principal. I look forward to partnering with you this school year to help your child continue to thrive at school.

Every Friday, you can expect a weekly newsletter emailed home with updates about Elmwood. We will continue to provide more information about events at school in the upcoming weeks. Please continue to provide me with your input and feedback to help support our students, staff, and families at Elmwood.

PowerSchool Parent Portal

Parents must complete the online information update via the South Lake Parent Portal at https://ps.solake.misd.net/public/home.html. You should have received instructions, along with your child's Access ID and password, via USPS. If you do not have your child’s Access ID and password for the Parent Portal, please contact our front office.

Once you are logged into the Parent Portal, please click Forms ~ General ~ Returning Student Verification. This update must be done for each child enrolled in South Lake Schools.
