Halloween Costumes
With Tuesday being Halloween, some students may want to wear costumes to school. This is acceptable, but there are several parameters students will need to follow:
1. The face must remain uncovered at all times
2. No full-face or substantial make-up (we need to know who the kids are instantly when looking from afar)
4. Hats are permitted if it is part of a costume
5. No fake weapons or items that could be interpreted as a weapons
6. Lengths of dresses, skirts, shorts, etc. must still comply with the dress code
7. All other components of the MISD Dress code must be followed.
Parent Teacher Conference Days: November 6 and 7
Mansfield ISD's designated Parent/Teacher conference days will be Monday, November 6 (3:45pm-7pm) and Tuesday, November 7 (8am-11:30am). If you would like to schedule a conference with your student's teacher during that time, please contact that specific teacher. All teacher emails can be found on our website or by clicking HERE.
Last Chance for Senior Pictures to Be in Yearbook
Seniors: The absolute LAST day to get senior pictures taken to be included in this year’s yearbook is Saturday, Nov. 11. Cady will offer one additional on-campus opportunity on Wednesday, Nov. 1. All seniors who still need to take a picture MUST go to www.Cady.com to schedule an appointment, whether you take photos on Nov. 1 at MHS or at the Cady Studio in Grapevine at your convenience. No walk-up photos will be taken. Photos taken after Nov. 11 WILL NOT be included in the senior section of the yearbook. Questions? Contact Ms. Rooney: jillianrooney@misdmail.org
Seniors: Cap and Gown Info
On Thursday Jostens was on campus to discuss cap and gown orders with seniors. As a reminder to those that attended, Jostens will be set up in the cafeteria having a Senior Celebration Day on Thursday, November 9th, during all lunches. They will be handing out any 2024 apparel items or souvenir items you order online when you order your cap and gown and announcements.
If you are ordering online, you will need to order by November 5th so that your early apparel items will be ready for pick up on the celebration day.
If you are ordering with cash, check or money order, Jostens will be taking those orders on Senior Celebration Day and will bring extra items to hand out that day. You can also order your class ring if you have not done so already.
If you have any questions, please email Jostens at goldenoffice@jostens.com or give them a call at 817-461-6837.
