Happy Spring Break
Hello Phoenix families,
We hope you had a restful Spring Break and are ready for the sprint to the end of the year!
This week we continue with our Education plan meetings. With the exception of one student, the juniors are finished, we will meet with the Sophomores this week and the Freshmen next week. The "Coffee With The Principal" scheduled for tomorrow is cancelled due to a conflict. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Next week, our Juniors will be completing their CAASPP test. We will begin with English Language Arts, move on to math, and conclude with Science Monday the 24th. The test will be administered as soon as students arrive on campus at 12:05 so be sure to arrive on time!
Sales of prom tickets conclude this Friday, if you have not purchased your ticket, please do so as soon as possible. Remember, you are allowed to invite friends for this fun evening. The prom committee has been working hard, it will be a beautiful night.
Next week, our seniors will take part in their mock interviews, this always is an informative learning experience for students and guests alike!
Have a wonderful week, Phoenix families, see you around campus.

An Opportunity To Have Your Voice Heard!
The Moorpark Education Foundation is holding a discussion on May 3, and we'd love you to come and share your thoughts! We're looking for input from community members who care about Moorpark schools and who have ideas on areas MEF might focus fundraising around.
A little about MEF: Moorpark Education Foundation was founded 16 years ago to provide funds to bridge the gap between state allocations and funds needed to provide quality educational programs to the students in the Moorpark Public Schools. In past years, you might have attended or supported one of MEF's Food Truck Meet-ups, Instrument Drives or Teacher Appreciation events.
Your voice is important, and we hope you're free to join us!
