Connection Suggestions for Rising 7th and 8th graders
All Coleman Middle School students will be allowed to suggest the connection classes they would like to take for the 2020- 2021 school year. All students are required to take at least one arts class during the school year.
Every effort will be made to place students in ONE of their top choices.
**Please note – a sufficient number of interested students are required for some
classes to be offered. Therefore, some classes may not be offered if enough students do not express an interest. All classes are first come first serve.
We hope to honor all suggestions. If we cannot students will be assigned to connection classes, and these classes will not be changed.
Connection suggestions opened Wednesday, February 19 at 5:00pm and will close Wednesday, February 26 at 5:00pm.

How to help your middle school student navigate the pressures of their generation
During Walking Wisely Weekend, students will hear valuable content to help them deal with the pressure they face. At the same time, we are offering a separate event designed specifically for you, the adults in their lives.
At Parent Night, you will hear from Dr. Tim Elmore, a world-renowned expert on this generation. Dr. Elmore will clearly explain the challenges unique to your student’s phase of life, and how you can best lead them through those challenges.
In addition to parents of students, teachers, administrators, coaches, and anyone who leads these students is welcome to attend.
Parent Night will be hosted by Gwinnett Church Sugar Hill on Friday, February 28 at 7:30 p.m. This is a free event, but registration is required.
