From the Principal
- I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday break last week. Our students and staff came back to Munhall recharged. Overall, we had a really good week!
- Our students have either begun their Winter iReady diagnostic, while others have finished. It has been amazing to see the growth out of our students.
- Just a friendly reminder, please continue to send students with cold weather gear. Please reach out if you need any support in this area.
- I am thrilled to see all of the families we will benefit through our Munhall Gives Pop - Up Food Pantry. Please read more information below.
- Our monthly schoolwide focus has been on personal space. Please ask your child at home what they have learned regarding this topic!

This week’s first snow is a great reminder to make sure the contact information you’ve provided the District is up-to-date. We want to ensure you’re getting timely alerts on inclement weather operations and other important notifications. Please take a moment to do the following:
View Notification Preferences/Enable Text Messages
District 303 will send notifications to families through the ParentLink system by text message, phone call and email based on your settings. Parents/guardians can view and edit their contact settings through the Home Access Center.
To receive timely emergency communications, we strongly encourage families to enable text notifications. For most people, this is the fastest way to receive and view important messages. Here’s how:
- From the HAC main menu, select the “registration” tab to view your contact settings
- Select the “edit” button to change your contact settings
- To enable text message notifications, enter your cell phone number in the SMS/text message field
- Select the “save” button
Health Office Contact Information
The Munhall nurses have a new email address! Parents can now reach us at mun-nurses@d303.org. Please send any communication or health forms to this email address to ensure that all of our Munhall nurses receive this important information about your student(s)!
Our Lost and Found is growing everyday! Please click the link below to browse the slides to find missing items.
ALL LOST and FOUND WILL BE REMOVED AND DONATED THE WEEK OF DEC. 12TH!
