Counseling Resources
Mindfulness: During Advisement once a week, for the past 8 weeks of school, students have been given several quick tools to help regulate emotions to help ease Anxiety and/or Stress and the difference between the two.
Open the door to conversation and ask your student what tools work for them and perhaps share what works for you! (Writing, Exercise, Mindfulness, Reading, Music, Distraction, a Hobby)
Two examples they may have done are :
Mindful walk: notice 5 things in the building you have not noticed before or
Stay: Spot every color in the rainbow in your room (5 red, 4 orange, 3 yellow, 2 blue, 1 green).
Here is a tool for study time at home: Focus music
Athletics Update

8th grade boys basketball registration is open in MySchoolBucks. First day of practice will be Monday, January 23rd and a current sports physical is required in order to participate.
Legend HS Wish Week
As you may know, the students of Legend High School come together each year to host a Wish Week to raise money for Make-A-Wish® Colorado and help create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We would like to invite you to join us and help grant wishes for these kids.
These wishes are unique, powerful, and life-changing. Wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give children with critical illnesses a higher chance of survival. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. A wish transforms the lives of children, their families, volunteers, supporters, medical professionals, and entire communities.
More details about how our community can support will be coming soon!
