Body Boundaries Make Us Stronger

Teaching your young children about body boundaries and personal space is of utmost importance as it lays the foundation for healthy relationships and self-respect. By understanding these concepts, children learn to recognize and respect their own boundaries, as well as those of others. This knowledge helps them develop a strong sense of self, enabling them to set limits and communicate their needs effectively. Moreover, it empowers children to identify and respond appropriately to uncomfortable or inappropriate situations, fostering a sense of safety, and autonomy. Teaching body boundaries and personal space is an essential step in promoting healthy social interactions, building trust, and ensuring the overall well-being of young children. MECC Flu Shot Clinic

Wednesday, September 27th from 3:30- 7PM

This opportunity is open to all Southside community members aged 6 months and up. All MECC students who receive a flu shot at this clinic on September 27 will be entered to win a $25 gift certificate to MECC's Scholastic Book Fair.
