Other:
- Deadline for Final Exam Change Request is Tuesday June 6th at 3:30pm. Deadline will be enforced. *forms in the main office
- No Requests for “early” finals (anything prior to June 8th) will be granted
- Final schedule adjustments require filling out the change form– students must have all impacted teacher’s signatures AND an administrator’s (Mr. Hurd) approval
- Buses will run at their regulars schedule times in the mornings
Juniors: Senior Parking Pass Sign up (2023/24 school year) from 6/1 to 6/9
Congratulations LHS Juniors, it's time to sign up for a parking spot for the 2023-24 school year.
- When: 6/1/23 at 8 am to 6/9/23 at 3:30 pm
- How: You'll receive the google form to sign up for senior parking in your school email on 6/1/23.

- Completion of the form is mandatory to be considered eligible for senior parking.

Receive targeted communication and support over the summer
Sign up to receive free communication and support this summer targeted to your specific year in school from ECMC The College Place. Sign up at https://bit.ly/ECMCTCP
Class of 2023 will receive support including information targeted for student's institutional choice, living arrangements and more. We'll help keep your students on track to actually begin their education journey after college on time, with a proper budget (including a payment plan if necessary), communication strategies for roommates, instructors and parents, and tools to help them succeed.
Class of 2024 will walk through creating a "college" list, crafting their personal statements, planning their scholarship process, and preparing to complete the FAFSA or ORSAA. Come September, you’ll arrive at school ready to go!
Younger students will get periodic, but not regular, communication regarding enrichment opportunities, scholarships and self- assessments.

Local summer jobs, internships, volunteer activities, service learning, travel, etc. can also be just as enriching. Do what suits you and your family best!
LHS Webstore Notice (closed) and Pay Past Due Balances by Friday, June 9th
LHS Webstore Closed as of 5/31:
The LHS Webstore is closed for the 2022-23 school year. The LHS Webstore will be active starting in mid-August for the 2023/24 school year.
Pay Outstanding Balances by Friday, June 9th (You would have received email/mailed statements in May):
- At the bookkeeping office (cash, check, card). No Venmo or Apple Pay.
- Checks: Made out to 'LHS' and add the students name/what you are purchasing on the memo line.
- Call 503.534.2199 to pay by credit card.

Orientation/First Day of School:

Pacer Pick Up Day - Friday, August 25th
Welcome to Lakeridge High School (LHS) and home of the Pacers! Pacer Pick Up Day is the day for students to complete the below activities so they are ready for the first day of school (2023-24 school year). Activity times are flexible and, to help parents who may want to attend with their students, all tasks will only take about an hour to complete.
- What: Pacer Pick Up Day 2023-24 School Year - This is the day to for students to complete activities so they are ready for the first day of school.
- Textbooks, Technology Waiver, Student ID, Schedule Distribution, School Fees, Lockers, Parking Pass (eligible seniors only)
- When: Friday, August 25th
- 9th graders: 8 am to 10 am
- 10th & 11th graders: 10 am to noon
- 12th graders: 1 pm to 3 pm
- Where: Lakeridge High School
- Questions? Full details will come out in August.
2023-24 LOSD Fee Waiver:
- If financial assistance is needed for the 2023-24 school year please plan on submitting the appropriate applications in August 2023. Please note: If you would like assistance with school fees and lunch fees you'll need to complete both applications.

Smart Start (504/IEP Students) - 8/31/23
Smart Start is an opportunity specifically for our students with 504s and IEPs, and their parents and guardians, to make introductions and connect with their teachers and to feel prepared and welcomed for the start of school. Smart Start is in person on Thursday, Aug. 31,12:30-2:30 p.m.
Teachers will be familiar with your student’s plan and accommodations. To help get to know your students, please complete the attached one-page profile or create one on your own ahead of time, and give it to the teacher at the Smart Start introduction.
Also, to assist in your family’s preparation for the new school year use the Smart Start checklist for parents and guardians of students with 504s and IEPs. See you on August 31!
LHS Speech & Debate Summer Camp
The Lakeridge Speech & Debate team is hosting a FREE summer camp from August 14 to August 16 from 9AM to 3PM at Lakeridge High School. Join us for a deep dive into high school speech & debate :) no experience required! This opportunity is highly recommended for anyone who is considering joining the high school team! Donate Gently Used Pacer Wear
Do you have a senior who is ready to part with some of their Pacer wear? Students can drop off their gently used Pacer tees, sweatshirts, jackets in the bin near the student store. We will pass it along to our new Pacers and Pacer staff. The bin will be out until the end of the year. We appreciate your help keeping the Pacer spirit alive.
Lost Items Pick Up - By 6/9
Water bottles, lunch boxes, sweatshirts, OH MY!
Please encourage your student(s) to check the back of the cafeteria and/or outside of the lower gym for lost items. Please inquire in the main office if you have lost keys, jewelry, glasses or other smaller items/items of extreme value.
Any items not picked up by the last day of school will be donated.

LOSD Nurse Updates
Medication Pick Up
Absolutely ALL medications, prescription and over the counter, left in the health room must be picked up by the end of the school day, June 12th, 2023. Only parents and guardians may collect the medications. They cannot be sent home with students. Medication Authorization Forms for next year are available on the district web page.
Immunizations for Next Year
Please review the OHA requirements and information on required immunizations for students. Please make arrangements to complete immunizations and update Synergy over the summer to avoid exclusion in 2024.

Volunteering at LHS?
Thank you for your interest in volunteering. For the safety of children, volunteers are required to have an approved background check before spending time in our schools or supporting school activities.
Please allow up to three weeks to process your approval. Accommodations may take longer.
Volunteers need to submit only one application for volunteering in all LOSD schools. Applications need to be submitted annually to capture changes in background checks, policies, and/or vaccination requirements.
