Yes, the spring is almost upon us and with that comes Kindergarten registration. We can't wait to welcome our newest Pythons to the family. This is also the time to register any student in grades 1-5 who will be new to EMES or LCPS next year.
FOR 2024-25 KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT -- Online pre-registration for kindergarten students and all students new to LCPS will open at 8 AM on February 1, 2023 by clicking on this link:https://www.lcps.org/Page/228770
Kindergarten registration meetings will begin on March 1 at Evergreen Mill. Please click here or below to schedule a virtual registration appointment with our registrar Mrs. Eder.
The student's 5th birthday must be no later than September 30, 2024. Exception possible for active military children. Contact the Senior Registrar at 571-252-1238. There are NO other exceptions to this Virginia State law.
If you have questions about Kindergarten registration please email peggy.eder@lcps.org
GRADE 5 PARENTS WE NEED YOUR INPUT!
We are so excited to begin planning for our end of year grade 5 Promotion Ceremony and Student Celebration. Traditionally our Promotion Ceremony has been held in the evening. We are gathering input as to whether parents would prefer a morning or evening ceremony this year. We want to ensure that this ceremony is accessible to all of our students and families and we value your input as to the time of day you would prefer for us to hold our ceremony this year. The date for the Grade 5 Promotion Ceremony is June 13. Please take just a moment and complete the survey below.
WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU!
The LCPS Annual Family Survey will be emailed to you on February 20. The LCPS Annual Staff, Student and Family Survey is the most extensive and influential feedback survey conducted by Loudoun County Public Schools each year. We use the results to assess the learning climate in our building and make plans for the following year. We want to hear from everyone so that we can make the best decisions for ALL our students!
The parent/family survey will only take a few minutes of your time. You will receive an email from Dr. Aaron Spence that will include a link to take the survey. You will be asked to fill out a survey for each school in which you have a child enrolled (elementary, middle, high or program). For more information go to the Stakeholder Surveys 2024 Information webpage
If you did not receive a survey email by February 22, contact research@lcps.org.
Thank you for sharing your opinion with us!
