Junior Majenta Stuntebeck won the $3,000 First Prize for her essay "On Behalf of Quiet," while senior Cammy Carver won the $1,000 Second Prize for her short story "Crossroads." This year's theme was "Imagine." Four students won Honorable Mention: Althea Anderson, Jenny Littel, Dija Manly, and Maddie Zwergel.
The award was made possible through the generosity of David Benjamin (Class of '67, and friend of Bob Schuster, Class of '66) and Kathleen Schuster, Mr. Schuster's widow. La Follette English teachers Andrew McCuaig and Keri Hornung organized and implemented this wonderful new La Follette tradition!
