Update: Thank you to all of the families that got their photos in on time! We are still missing a few of you though!!! If you have a youth who if planning on selling an animal at the fair this year, we need your photos as soon as possible!

We are going to be doing an online bidding option for the Livestock Sale. To save some fair time stress, we are requiring youth to submit pictures by July 7th for the sale catalog.

Picture requirements:

• Youth must be wearing FFA or 4-H show attire - please no hats so we can see youth faces
• One picture of youth with animal
• One close-up of the youth w/o animal
• Horizontal pictures only!
• NO banners or other promotional items in the background.
• Animals DO NOT need to fully groomed or clean

Not sure which species you are selling??? We realize that sometimes deciding which species to sell is challenging so take a picture with both animals just to be on safe side.

Not sure which animal you are selling??? Some people have two beef animals, for example, they could potentially sell. We don't expect you to know for sure which one you are selling. Please send a picture of only one! Just pick one for picture and pick the one for actual sale later!

The pre-fair entry forms are available on the county website as well as in the extension office. As a reminder, these forms are due in the office on July 7th by 11:59 PM. Please make sure that you use the correct forms depending on whether you're showing 4-H or FFA, static or livestock.

This video was created a few years ago but is still very relevant. Use the link to Morrill County Fair above in order to find all of the links to the papers you need. Be sure to use the FFA forms for FFA entries and 4-H for 4-H. On livestock, be sure to enter yourself in all classes you plan to show - whether it's showmanship, market, breeding, or dairy.

Kokodoma:

• If made hanging: Houseplant – G770062 – Hanging Basket (need to identify plant – it’s an airplane plant)
• If left to be in a saucer: Houseplant – G770061 – Foliage Potted Houseplant (need to identify plant – it’s an airplane plant)

Dipped Pot:

• Design Decisions – C257025 – Accessory Outdoor Living (requires a Home Environment card)

Baking:

• Cooking 301 - E411004 – Dinner Rolls (Must Include Recipe)

Sewing:

• STEAM 1 - C220912 – Pillow Stripes – must be judged on Clothing Day which is July 18th OR
• Design My Space – C255001 – Simple Fabric Accessory – judged on Static entry day at fair

Epoxy:

• If made into keychain, bracelet, or necklace - Beyond the Needle – C221007 – Fashion accessory. Must be judged on Clothing Day which is July 18th (requires a clothing data tag) OR
• If intended to use a decoration at home - Design Decisions – C257012 – Accessory 2D (requires a Home Environment Card)

• Magic of Electricity – H870015 – Bright Lights (flashlight)
• Wired for Power – H870003 – Electrical Item (Lamp)

• Design Decisions – C257014 – Accessory Original Floral Design (Home Environment card required)
