TEST TO RETURN AFTER WINTER BREAK
December 20 to December 22 — Schools distribute COVID-19 testing kits. Students should be sent home with a test kit, and staff can pick one up from their workplace. You can also pick up a test kit from any District COVID Center, located in all 8 wards. You can find the COVID Center locations and hours at coronavirus.dc.gov/covidcenters.
Do you have an ‘expired’ test kit? The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently extended a kit’s shelf life – visit www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus to make sure your test kit qualifies.
· Monday, January 2 — Take your rapid test and visit DCPSstrong.com/testing to upload your test results by 9:00 p.m. that evening. This applies to students and staff.
· Tuesday, January 3 — Schools reopen after Winter Break. Any student or staff who returns after that day will also be expected to show proof of a negative test.
