MRS. LAROWE - TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!
Students in Mrs. LaRowe’s 6th grade math classes worked together to identify a mystery number. Then, teams challenged their thinking by placing the digits 0-9 in a 3x3 grid so that every row, column and diagonal add to the same total. Although many teams were not successful, they did make progress when they put their brains together!

STUDENT INFORMATION CHANGES
Parents/Guardians:
Please remember to log in to ParentVue to complete the mandatory updates for this school year. Not completing these updates could cause us to not have the most accurate contact, medical or emergency information on file, so please complete this process ASAP if you haven't already done so.
Please note: emergency info also includes who we are allowed to release your student to...
They MUST be listed in order for us to release your student to them!
Please click here to log in to ParentVue to ensure your children's information has been updated:

If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Bernard at dbernard@goodrichschools.org
STUDENT ABSENCES AND GOOGLE CLASSROOM
All teachers have Google Classroom and all students "joined" as a classroom activity during the first week of school. Teachers are keeping their Google Classroom current, so if a student is absent, or in the event of quarantine (or a forced remote learning situation), we will be able to continue teaching and learning.
Throughout the year, if your child(ren) is absent, for any reason, please have them log into Google Classroom to check for assignments, as this will be the primary means of getting absent work to students.

2022-2023 GMS YEARBOOK INFO
Hello All GMS Families,
GMS Yearbook welcomes you to the 2022-2023 school year! Yearbooks are $45.00 and can only be ordered online.
We’re here to share some exciting news with you regarding the 2023 yearbook. Guess what? You’re officially on the yearbook photo staff! Yes, you read that right! This year, more than ever, we ask that you join us in helping to create the book.
What are some ways you could help us achieve this task? Consider:
- Send us original resolution pictures (and questions) to gmsyearbook@goodrichschools.org
- When you see an email in regards to the yearbook, open it! Complete the form requesting information and pictures! Easy.
- Capture CANDID moments and send them to us. By candid we mean non-posed.
- Student organizations definitely deserve some love: help us gather memories of meetings, practices or virtual events.
- Calling all athletes: we are talking about school sports or extracurricular sports. Share your stories and photos!
- If you or a parent you know takes pictures at student events, please email us.
- Take photos of ANYTHING that happens in your home that connects back to our school, whether virtually or in-person.
- We want to feature any students who are doing something awesome.
The Yearbook Staff wants to include as much as possible from our virtual learners in this year’s yearbook. Please take the time to take candid photographs of your learners doing interesting activities that we can include in the yearbook. Photos can be emailed to gmsyearbook@goodrichschools.org at any time.
This yearbook is unique in that it will be created by the whole school. We hope to create a yearbook that encompasses all of our GMS Students this year, and you can help make that possible. Thank you in advance for being a part of this historic year.
