Nassau News
January 2023
Dear Nassau Families,
Happy New Year to all of our families! I hope that everyone had a restful winter break and are ready to start fresh. Our P2 character trait of the week is Optimist, which is perfect for these cold, short and dreary days! January marks the middle of our academic year with the second marking period officially ending on Friday, January 27. Report cards will be posted on the parent portal on Friday, February 3.
As winter weather continues, it is important that children have proper outerwear for recess. Classes still enjoy outdoor time when the temperature is 21 degrees or above. Hats, mittens, coats, and boots are important to help keep them warm. If you need assistance with these items please let us know, we are happy to help.
Finally, as we continue to experience a large volume of illnesses here at school, we appreciate diligence in monitoring your child's symptoms and keeping them home when they are ill to help prevent spread. Thank you.
Best,
Erik Lynch
Principal
Congratulations to Mr. Andreas
Just recently he brought his students along with Mrs. Valentine and Mrs. Burgess from Hagan, to put on a show for our Nassau students, and they did just that!! Please see pictures below
