WELCOME TO ECFE 2023-24

Welcome ECFE Families!

Whether you are a new family, joining us for the first time, or a long-time ECFE attendee, we are so excited to have you with us for the 23-24 school year. We have been hard at work this summer to make sure we are ready to welcome you back to the classroom in September.

As the school year approaches, we will add additional opportunities for new classes and for families who are on wait list for current classes. Please keep an eye on your email and our website for updates to our class offerings.

ECFE begins with Open Houses. Come meet your teachers, learn the routine, and complete paperwork. Busses are expected to be running. If you are in a two day per week class, please attend on the first day of this week only.

This program follows the SPPS PreK calendar.

Begins Thursday, Sept 7 and ends Monday June 10th.

It's not too late to register for ECFE! Registration is open for fall 2023-2024.

Classes start September 18, 2022.

ECFE Registration 2023-2024

** Limited transportation is available to support families who need it. Transportation is available for select classes, and boundaries are limited. When you register for Fall 2023 classes, check course descriptions to learn more about your options. Register Early—routes will fill, based on registration date, for participants within the transportation boundaries.

Prior to 10/1/2023 we limit enrollment to one class per adult. Registrants must be St. Paul residents. Registration is expanded after 10/1, pending availability.

ECFE All-City Advisory Council News and Announcements

Are you interested in volunteering on the ECFE Parent Advisory Council (PAC) this year? It is a fun, easy, way to get involved behind the scenes of ECFE and get some great experience in advocacy, committee participation, and community engagement. Plus you'll get to know some other ECFE families from across the city. Meetings are monthly via zoom. Join us at our next meeting! (Family Connection Workers can offer translation services at your request!) If you are interested in seeing the meeting minutes or a recording of the Zoom call, email allcityecfe@gmail.com.

Dear Families,

The summer is still in full swing but the 2023-2024 school year is fast approaching. As we look to the next school year, Saint Paul Public Schools Community Education is proud to offer a new Pre-kindergarten option this fall for families with 4-year olds.

Registration for our Nature Discovery Pre-Kindergarten classes is now open for the 2023-2024 school year. The program is housed at Saint Anthony Park Elementary and offers extended day and afterschool childcare options through Discovery Club. Nature Discovery Pre-Kindergarten provides licensed teachers and curriculum that focuses on learning in a nature-based setting as well as bringing nature into the classroom. This program will run on the Saint Paul Public Schools calendar.
