Superintendent's Message
Loveland Tiger Families,
January is School Board Recognition Month - a time to say thank you to the people who lead public school districts all across the country. We are fortunate here in Loveland to have a great Board of Education and a legacy of fantastic leaders.
The job of a Board member isn’t glamorous, but it is vitally important. They set the policy that guides what happens in our classrooms while also watching the budget to ensure the district is fiscally responsible in its decision-making.
At last week’s Board Meeting, students from the Loveland Intermediate School Tiger Brain Trust gave our Board Members cards and treats to show their appreciation. It was a great moment to reinforce that the leadership of our Board has a direct impact on the experiences of our students.
Thank you to Board President Jonathan Eilert, Board Vice President Lynn Mangan, and Board Members Christina Jeranek, Dr. Eric Schwetschenau, and Eileen Washburn.
I’m thankful to work for a great Board of Education, and work in a fantastic community.
Feel free to send me an email at broadwmi@lovelandschools.org.
Go Tigers!

Help Families in Need with “3’s for LIFE”
You can help families in need by supporting “3’s for LIFE.” Loveland High School’s Tigers Inc. is collecting canned goods for Loveland’s LIFE Food Pantry. Help our students collect 3,000 canned goods for local families in need with a donation to Tigers Inc. via Venmo to @Tigers-Inc.
Jarvis Global Investments will also donate 12 canned goods for every 3-point shot scored by a Loveland boys or girls basketball player.

Volunteer for LMS Career Exploration Day
Loveland Middle School has an exciting Career Exploration Day planned for 7th and 8th-grade students. They’ll learn about different jobs and career options directly from people in the workforce. We need your help - if you are available on the morning of Tuesday, March 5, please volunteer to present to our students. Smash myths about your career, inspire kids to explore your field, and invest in the future of our students! All careers are welcome! This event is an important part of our effort to help students find their pathway to lifelong success. Please follow this link to indicate your interest. Send an email to College and Career Counselor Drews Mitchell or LMS Principal David Knapp if you have any questions.

2024-25 and 2025-26 School Calendars Available
The school calendars are now available for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years. You can view and print an easy-to-read version of the calendar and important dates by following this link to our website.
Transportation Challenges Continue
There is an urgent need for bus drivers for our district. Without additional drivers, we may be forced to skip some routes on some days because we are critically short-staffed. We are working to avoid this, but please create a backup plan for how your family would handle transportation in the event we are forced to limit bus service due to the driver shortage.
Loveland bus drivers receive paid training, health insurance, and retirement benefits. Follow this link to apply online, or call our Transportation Department at 513-683-3103. Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors about this great opportunity to help our Loveland City School District community.
