A National Letter of Intent - April 12, 2023
A National Letter of Intent is a binding commitment by an athlete to play collegiate athletics for a particular college or university in exchange for a scholarship. (This means your son or daughter is signing a commitment to a Division I or Division II school to play a sport and receiving athletic financial aid for playing the sport. This would also mean the college or university has been in contact with you and your son or daughter about the signing the paperwork. )
April 12, 2023 is the third of three signing time periods for prospective senior student-athletes, who have played at Eagan, to sign their National Letters of Intent.
We will celebrate our D-1 and D-11 athletes and we will also honor those who will play at NAIA, D-111 or JUCO schools
If you have a senior (12th Grade) son or daughter who will be signing to play college athletics during this time period please contact Eagan’s Athletic Director, Sandra Setter Larsen.
Email - Sandra.setter@district196.org and Brigett.Hanson@district196.org the following.

EHS 2nd Annual Polar Plunge
Registration for the Polar Plunge at EHS is now open!
What is the Polar Plunge?
“The Cool School Mobile Plunge gives schools the opportunity to rally around inclusion while participating in a unique and wildly fun event! The Polar Plunge website explained what it is by saying, “The concept is simple: staff and students register and fundraise money for Special Olympics Minnesota and their school, teams, clubs or groups. In the process, participants earn awesome incentives and get the chance to jump into freezing cold water. The day of the event, we bring the Polar Plunge directly to your school with the Plungester, a custom-designed mobile Plunge pool!”
Each student must raise $25 to jump!

Dakota United Adapted Softball Registration
Dakota United Adapted Softball registrations are now open for all students Grade 7-12. There are two different leagues for students interested in competing in a Minnesota State High School League sponsored sport. Adapted Athletics include a Cognitive Impaired League and a Physically Impaired League offered for students in the district. The Cognitive Impaired (CI) League is for students with Cognitive Impairments and the Physically Impaired (PI) League is for district students with any physical impairment. Both leagues are created with rules, adaptations, and unique game play to meet the needs of students with either cognitive or physical impairment needs. Home games and most practices are held at the HOPE Fieldhouse in Rosemount, MN. Student Activity Bussing is available to practices and home from practices within the district.
Please register through your home school on MyPaymentsPlus, and/or contact Head Coach Brett Kosidowski (brett.kosidowski@district196.org) for more information. Students will need an up to date physical on file at their home school before signing up.
Thank you,
Brett Kosidowski

We are experiencing concerns with damage to restrooms - especially boys restrooms. When that happens the restroom has to be closed for cleaning/repair and that makes it unavailable for student use for a period of time. Please report, using this anonymous method, the information about this problem. Thanks!
