US Department of Education's (USDoE) Impact Aid Student-Parent Survey Form for the 2023-2024 SY, is available for your student(s) in your Skyward Family Access portal. This form, one for each student, needs to be completed and submitted by you (the student’s parent/guardian/sponsor) by Friday, 15 DEC 2023.
As you are aware, the Fort Leavenworth School District is “heavily impacted” with federally connected students as determined by the USDoE. Once a year, Fort Leavenworth USD 207 is required by law to report each federally connected student. The totals from this data collection are used on the District's Impact Aid Program application which is submitted to the USDoE, in order to receive federal Impact Aid funding. This reporting determines the amount of funding provided, which is critical for USD 207 to continue to offer the highest quality education and resources for our students and families.
If you find any incorrect information on your student(s) survey form(s), please contact our school secretary *before* submitting the form(s). The school secretaries will correct the information in Skyward and then notify you that your form(s) are ready for review and submission.
If you have questions about the survey or the Impact Aid Program, please contact the office staff. The survey form is intended to take less than 1 minute per student. It can be accessed from your phone but may be more difficult to view. Completion is easiest/quickest on a computer, laptop, Chromebook, or iPad. If you do not have easy access to technology, please feel free to come to our USD 207 District Office building to use a computer in the main lobby, or visit the school offices and they can also provide a computer to complete on site.
