What's happening in the library?
Blind Date with a Book
To celebrate Valentines day (and promote literacy and a love of reading), the Wadsworth Library is hosting all ELA classes February 14th and 15th. Students will choose a wrapped book based on very vague descriptions, and check one out to read. This process encourages patrons to not “judge a book by its cover.” But also, a reader might discover that what they love about reading all along wasn't the genre they are used to reading—it was the intricate characters and style of writing.

Students learning aspects of coding
On Wednesdays, during 4th and 5th grade exploratory classes, students are learning aspects of coding, such as critical thinking, the engineering design process, concentration and various other skills involved in the coding process. We are excited increase participation in this venture and are looking to add more classes!
