Saturday 4-H Fair News Blast

Static exhibits will be released today, Saturday, beginning at 10:00 pm. For security reasons, entry and exit will all take place through one door, the walk-thru door on the South side of the building. Please be sure to double check that you have all your items.

6:00 a.m. – 9:00a.m. Continue Release of Horses and other Animals

No Sunday release of Rabbits and Poultry.

**If pens and stalls are left unclean, exhibitor checks will be held.

1:00 Clean up of the fair. See article below....

Remember clean up day before the fair? There's also a clean up day after the fair, to put things away and clean up after ourselves. Clean up begins at 9:00 am. And better than root beer floats, there's the opportunity to win a prize! All kids who help clean up get to put their name into the bucket to be drawn for a prize. Two HOVER BOARDS will be given away! See the list of prize sponsors below....

Good News from Keep Cass County Beautiful ...

Keep Cass County Beautiful will help the 4-H youth with supplies to clean up litter after the fair again this year. They will provide trash bags, recycling bags, gloves and grabber tools for those who will be cleaning the fair grounds. - This is very kind and generous of Keep Cass County Beautiful. We say, "Thank you!"

Champion and Reserve Champion Livestock signs need to be returned to the 4-H office by Sunday morning. They will be used again next year. Thank you.

The last Herdsmanship check will happen Saturday evening.

There was a date correction made on the State Fair exhibit cards. Please read again and note the day/date changes ...

AkSarBens must be submitted online through the online process via aksarbenstockshow.com. Online registration opens August 1st, ending on August 31st at midnight Central Time.

If you see Harlee Brauckmuller somewhere on the fairgrounds, please tell her good job and thank you. Her last day as a 4-H Summer Intern will be next Friday, August 16th.
