Weekly Update
Holy Trinity Catholic School January 13th, 2022
PRAYER
"Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying." Romans 12:12
Dear Lord,
There is nothing that you cannot do.
I know you are with me and will deliver me from hardships and difficulties I may be facing.
Grant me grace and patience to endure those rough times.
You are my true hope and I put all my trust in you.
All will work out for You are with me.
Amen
HOME AND SCHOOL MEETING
There will be a Home and School meeting on January 18th at 6:00. All school families are encouraged to come. We will be discussing what events Home and School has coming up and asking for opinions on what families would like to see Home and School doing in the future. We look forward to seeing everyone and getting some new ideas for the future.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Forms are in Home Folders and attached here.
If a teacher is requesting a conference, the form will be in your home folder. Some teachers may be requesting conferences just as a check-in as they haven't talked to you in a while. We need to get away from the notion that when we have conferences they are a negative thing. Conferences can occur for positives as well.
Conferences are a chance to meet with your child's teacher and talk about how they are doing.
Forms are due Thursday, January 20th.
NO SCHOOL
That day is scheduled as a staff retreat day.
Tuition Statements
Please watch your mailboxes. You should be receiving the 2021 tuition paid statements next week.
Thank you.
Substitute Teachers and Aides

If you would be interested in aiding in the school, please contact the school office as well. We are looking for people to help out in various ways.

COVID
% Positive Out: 1.31%
% Out due to quarantine: 1.31%
Please continue to closely monitor your family for symptoms of COVID. We are still seeing illnesses occurring in school.
The Holy Trinity families have been doing well in keeping kids home when ill. Please do not let up and notify us right away.
This has been our best mitigation yet! – Closely monitor, track, and isolate the situation so that it does not spread to others.
We highly recommend you to have a negative COVID test when returning after a quarantine period. See the new guidelines attached below that were sent home via email.

A Note from Mrs. Longden
As we begin to look at the events of Catholic Schools Week, I think it is important to thank everyone who makes our school possible. We are grateful to the parishioners of Holy Trinity and St. Michael's for the support they provide and to Father Strand and Zachary Galante for their spiritual guidance. We thank our parents for their commitment to a faith-filled education for their children. We thank our faculty and staff for their dedication and care. We thank our students for the joy and enthusiasm they bring to school each day. And finally, we thank God for the many blessings he has bestowed upon us.
This time of year gets very busy around school. We are serious about the registration of students for next fall and we host events for that purpose, such as our Open House. It always seems so early to begin thinking and working on registration in January, but we need to lock in the future of next fall. Having families make a commitment to enroll at this time helps our school plan for budgeting, staffing, space, and supplies that we will need to move forward. You will be receiving tuition and registration documents in February.
Please, if you know a family who might be a good fit for our school or one that is just starting out with preschool/kindergarten enrollment, please share information about our school with them. The upcoming events help new families learn more, but tours of our school are welcome at any time as well.
Blessings,
Mrs. Longden
